Born and raised in Atlanta, James Bell started his real estate career in Buckhead in the mortgage industry working as a mortgage backed securities trader in one of Atlantas premier mortgage banking firms. James' family has included multiple generations of real estate development, banking and brokerage. He has grown his real estate brokerage into a $750 million plus sales and development business. Ranked among the Wall Street Journal and Real Trends "Top Agents" and "Best Real Estate Agents in America" from 2008-2011 James' primary markets include, Atlanta, Ansley Park, Buckhead, Washington DC, New York, Palm Beach, and London upper bracket sales.
Growing up in Peachtree Battle and Buckhead, James would love to go for long runs after work, down by Saint Phillips Cathedral, always getting caught in those early evening Atlanta rainstorms. Surrounded by the incredible architecture of homes on Peachtree Battle Drive that is when James fell in love with great southern real estate.
James is a member of the congregation at Saint Phillips Cathedral in Atlanta. James, has two beautiful dogs Luke, a golden retriever, and Lucy a Bernese mountain dog.
James is extremely focused on his philanthropic efforts, including current board positions; AIA Foundation - Washington DC, Previous boards include; Starlight Children's Foundation, George Town Club, The Board of Trustees for The Washington National Opera, Food and Friends.
