A native of Wilmington, North Carolina, English graduated from the University of North Carolina and moved to Atlanta where she has lived for over 30 years. She began her career at SunTrust Banks, now Truist Bank, where she spent 10 years in corporate banking. Before joining Ansley Atlanta, English was an agent in the Buckhead office of Harry Norman Realtors.
English’s clients call her a phenomenal business professional, a strong negotiator, relentless, responsive, and most importantly someone who listens. English knows that finding the right home for your family is about more than just an address. She understands the personalities of Atlanta’s neighborhoods, knows the schools, and can likely introduce you to a few of your new neighbors. Whether negotiating an offer, pricing and marketing a new listing or finding the right home to fit her client’s needs, English’s combined knowledge and experience give her a unique set of skills. English also brings the personal experience of managing two corporate moves as her husband’s career took them from Atlanta to Washington, D.C., then on to Boston, and finally back to Atlanta.
English and her husband Robert live in Historic Brookhaven with their golden retriever Woody. They are active members of All Saints’ Episcopal Church and the Capital City Club. Their two sons are graduates of the University of Georgia and their daughter graduated from Vanderbilt University. Over the years, English has been active at The Westminster Schools, the UGA Chi Phi Parents’ Club, and the UGA Parent’s Council, where she served as Co-Chair with her husband.
In her free time, English enjoys ALTA tennis, spinning, the occasional half marathon, her garden clubs, and volunteering at All Saints’ Episcopal Church, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and the Ronald McDonald House.
