I was born in Ohio and raised in both Florida and Ohio. Upon graduating from The American University in Washington, DC, I moved to Dallas, TX, to handle National Accounts for an automotive aftermarket firm. I eventually returned to Ohio to assume the role of Vice President of Sales for a steel company that manufactured pipe and tubing for the oil drilling industry. Many years later, I moved to Maui, Hawaii and founded a medical supply company, serving physician offices and hospitals throughout the Hawaiian Islands. In addition, my wife and I also created the only gourmet cooking store (Escapade) on the island. Subsequently, I found my way to the mountain paradise I now call home in Hiawassee, GA.
