Gay's friends affectionately refer to her as their personal "ESPN"of sports with an unwavering passion for professional football (a dedicated Commanders fan), college sports (Roll Tide!), tennis and the Braves. Some even argue she missed her calling as a sideline reporter!
Beyond her professional endeavors, Gay dedicates her time to local organizations, particularly those that have been connected to her children. From supporting the Milton HS staff, athletics and three senior classes to leading the local chapter of the Young Men's Service League, her commitment to giving back remains a cornerstone of her values.
During her leisure hours, Gay can be found in Sea Pines, enjoying home games in Tuscaloosa with her sons and friends, Charleston with her daughter, cultivating her garden, or enjoying both the tennis and pickleball courts. Currently calling Milton home with her husband, Mike, and two Vizslas , Gay and Mike take pride in their roles to parents of three children with two on the verge of completing their college journey and one graduate carving out his own path.
